Q. How many consultants do you plan on training?
A. Our vision is to have a small team of dedicated, passionate and highly skilled consultants.

Q. Are there any hidden costs?
A. There are no hidden costs from our side. It is advisable to allocate a budget to market yourself and to understand how to set up a business before you start.

Q. Do I need to pay a monthly retainer or commission?
A. No, we want you to succeed in your own right.

Q. How does your referral system work?
A. We refer our consultants through Chata’s national and corporate workshops. In addition, all queries that come through our office are referred to our website. It would be up to the client to decide whom to phone.

Q. Will there be a percentage or royalty paid in the case of referrals received?
A. No, your income is 100% yours.

Q. What standards must we adhere to?
A. As a Chata Romano Image Consultant you will be required to maintain a high standard in terms of your own image and conduct, which is professional and well groomed. We also expect you to be friendly and approachable. The friendly professional is always called back again and again.

Q. Does Chata Romano advertise my business?

A. No. You are an independent consultant who owns her own business – you are not employed by us. You are therefore responsible for your own marketing, advertising and developing your own database.

Q. Where will I conduct my business?
A. From home or an office, there are no set rules. Either way, please ensure that your working environment is professional, yet relaxing at the same time. You should also have good daylight (or good lighting) in order to conduct the color analysis correctly.

Q. Do I have to quit my full time job?
A. No. A number of our consultants consult part-time with the goal to establishing a full-time business.

Q. Is hair and makeup part of our syllabus?
A. No, you would refer your clients to the experts.

Q. Is this a good time to be in the image business?
A. Yes! Image is one of the fastest growing industries of this decade. In the 15 years that I have owned my business I have never seen such a high level of interest in this particular field.
